    From town · 4.4 miles

Trailhead on Barclay Creek Rd (Forest Road 6024), Baring, WA 98224. It starts across from the store on Highway 2 at milepost 42. About 500 feet of gain to a lake under the north wall of Baring Mountain. The footlog is out, so high water can stop the creek crossing. Northwest Forest Pass.

  • Troublesome Creek

North of Index · short loop

  • Lazy river tubing

    Leavenworth · same drive

Put in at Bridge River Access on Icicle Rd, Leavenworth, WA 98826. A mellow float on the Wenatchee through town. Rent a tube downtown. It is a river, not a waterpark, so you should know how to swim. Summer only, and weekends book up.
